Accenture and their Partners Celebrated Online Diwali with Dancing Chef
The clock was striking 11, and I was about to go to bed. But before that, I thought to give a glance at my phone, and there was a message from Accenture:
“Hi Nistha, this class seems very fun and interesting! I am looking to find a virtual event to celebrate Diwali in early November. Are you able to host classes that are based in the US? Also, what would the cost be for a private group of around 100 people. Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks!”
I said, “ Thank you for your message. Yes, I am hosting a lot of Diwali events for the USA.
The price is 21 dollars per person in most cases. But I am always negotiating to fit into your budgets and then you quote a fair price and I agree on it.”
I believe in compassion and client satisfaction. Losing a client and that too for the sake of money, is a total NO from my side! The negotiation went on for about 10 days for this event. Though it required a lot more communication than I thought, but finally, they booked it for them and also for their partner companies. Throughout I tried to keep the connection as smooth as possible by writing back to them. They decided to make one of our most popular dishes, turmeric ginger ale and sweet lassi, an authentic Indian drink, and I could not think of any better way than celebrating my Diwali with them.
We made an alcoholic version of the ale, and also a non-alcoholic version was available for the non-drinkers. We all made the drinks, and not to forget, danced together!
Within a second, the environment had an added flavor of the festive celebration. Diwali is the festival of lights, so our kitchen got lit up with lights. It is one of my favorite festivals apart from Christmas, and here, in Berlin, It truly made justice to the festival.

“Nistha was great! We worked together to host a Diwali Celebration for a company event. The experience was engaging, insightful, and fun! Nistha is also very timely in all of her communications and very flexible/accommodating with her clients.”
