Kitty Party's first Team Building Event for Zalando
Even though I prefer minimalism, Zalando, an online fashion retailer based in Germany is my go-to for all my fashion needs. I’m an avid follower of fashion trends, which is why Zalando has been one of my most awaited clients along with Google, Tesla and Apple. Also, Zalando happened to be my partner's team. So, I had to host them!
This dream of mine finally became reality as one of the participants who had been to a Kitty Party event before recommended me to the Teams of Zalando.
A few days back, the team decided to call a meeting with me to form the menu. They wanted to prepare something simple and easy yet delicious. So, we took up the decision to make our most popular Butter Masala Curry along with green salad. I wanted the event to be flawless and complete, a fun experience for everyone who participated. So, we booked a professional kitchen in Berlin. It was decorated with a few minimal pieces as we wanted to keep it simple but aesthetic.
On the day of the event, I was delighted to be the host of my dream client! The offline cooking event was smashing as it was quite a diversion from the tedious course of their work. The team members were very cooperative and kind, and they were in high spirits as we cooked and danced together. As always, the Indian cuisine we made together was a hit among them! Later, we organised a fun food styling competition where every team member participated. They got creative in the activity and I tried to deliver some knowledge on food styling too. In short, the team was super active and engaging, making the team building event highly successful!
Feedback:
Great attitude and super fun event organized by Nistha. Would like to have a second event this weekend already!
An event with Nistha is a very special experience. All the palpable joy in the creation, her affection, her appreciation of good food, her laughter and her dance - everything is easily transferred to the participants of her courses.
We were able to experience a cooking class with Nistha. With a real hands on mentality. Dancing, food science, cutting, cooking, creative arrangement and then eating festively.
And so with her, actually two recipes always succeed at the same time: once, of course, the culinary and once the completely successful team experience led by her.
You go on a culinary journey, you also learn something about the country and culture, about your colleagues and about the latest Indian music trends in London.
And Nistha never forgets, for example, the respective many first names including origin and taste preferences of all 12 participants.
I can highly recommend to other teams.
Thank you, Nistha.— Dirk Lademann, Sr. Process Manager | Zalando Logistics Network Expansion PMO
