How does Kitty Party get Ready for the Virtual Diwali Celebration?

Diwali, the festival of lights, is on the horizon, and I cannot wait to celebrate it with you, here, at Kitty Party! The preparation for the festive-special sessions starts a month in advance. The whole atmosphere in Kitty Party gets spirited and active with a positive aura. Even my team members become extra energetic.

This is how Kitty Party gets ready to celebrate Diwali :

Decorate our Kitchen :

My kitchen decked with lights and decor

We start off by sending invitations for our online events to our customers via email. And then we begin our arrangements for the series of celebrations. At this time, my favorite place in my home, that is my kitchen, also gets dressed up for the festival. We decorate the space with an array of lights, diyas and flowers, and not to forget Rangoli! Everything gets lively and vibrant.

Launch New Menu:

Authentic Indian Food is a part of our Diwali Menus

Diwali is not only the festival of lights but of food and desserts. So, I make sure that we construct more menus catering to the occasion during this time. The menu mostly includes traditional Indian dishes and desserts, but we also offer customizations on both our online and offline events. Being an Indian, my intention lies in presenting Indian traditions and cultures through these recipes.

Particular Indian-ness in Celebration at this time of the year:

Festive Indian Drinks for Diwali

With hundreds of people coming from different parts of the world, live and lively virtual team building celebrations of Diwali take place. The teams really enjoy the online parties as we cook and groove to Indian music. They learn about the recipes, the festival and its origin. We chit-chat a little about my childhood and share stories about the festivities in India. The customers virtually visit our kitchen, along with the view of Berlin and its river. Sometimes guests even ask for a virtual tour of my home-temple. All these gestures fill my heart with happiness and pride. I never thought I would be representing my country through my passion.

Personal Excitement is at its Peak:

Every bit should look festive

For me, Diwali is very close to my heart, and the celebration is very personal and emotional. These are the days where I miss my family, in India, the most. So, even though I cannot visit, I try to bring a part of the "festival-adorned" India in my kitchen. The celebration of the festival has seen a lot of changes since my childhood, but the enjoyment and the excitement has remained the same.

Diwali lingers at Kitty Party for about a month. During these days, I get to celebrate each day and cherish the festivity with these amazing teams and my supportive team members.

So, want to feel the thrill? What are you waiting for? Join in for this grand celebration of Diwali, with me, Nistha, your beloved Dancing Chef!
